Vehicle immobilizer breathalyzer that prevents a person under the influence of alcohol from starting the vehicle. Interlock® 7000 starts up very quickly. In addition, a camera, a GPS or a mobile data transfer module can be attached to the equipment, depending on the specific requirements of the customer.
Consists of two components: the terminal and the control unit. The expired air sample is analyzed at the terminal. The control unit releases or blocks the vehicle's starter relay. When the vehicle is started, the Interlock 7000 asks the driver for an exhaled air sample. If the device detects an alcohol level above the established limit, it prevents the engine from starting. The device helps to systematically eliminate the risk of accidents due to alcohol and prevents driving under the influence of alcohol.
